Consultant: Started consulting business with a few friends. We designed a network for a few non-profit clients.
September 1997 - May 2000OPEN COMPUTING FACILITY, UC BERKELEY
Staff member. Provided technical support to OCF members. Created accounts. Helped with day to day running. Worked with other OCF staff members to provide new programs for the user base and better documentation.
August 1998 - November 1999OPEN COMPUTING FACILITY, UC BERKELEY
Site Manager (Chief Systems Administrator). Kept the hardware and software running. Coordinated the hours and activities of staff. Responsible for routine maintenance on hardware. Responsible for upgrading hardware. Represented the technical side of the OCF at board meetings. Responsible for maintaining technical budget and needs, as well as deciding upon new hardware purchases.
